This utility intercepts all incoming inventory scans and analyzes the inventory streams for key data and adds supplemental (user specified) inventory information from a secondary DB (i.e. P.O. #, P.O. Date, Vendor Purchased From, Warranty Expiration, Building, Room, Telephone #, Owner, etc). The supplemental inventory information is maintained/updated in a separate DB and automatically added to inventory scan which then causes it to appear in the Management DB and the Datamart and viewable on the inventory reports and web console reports. |
