Continue to use the win32 console to manage Asset Control data and view the values like any other inventory record. It is "business as usual" when you can execute query and reports in the same functional manner you are already familiar with! Use our Discovery Services to inventory network attached devices such as Printers, Copiers, Scanners, KVM’s, Routers, Power Modules, Blade Cabinets, Barcode Scanners, Management Cards, and more. Use barcode scanners for automated inventory of your assets off the network or provide a web form for manual entry for flexibility.

Asset Control flies above the built-in unmanaged device detection by turning the obscure network discovery data into an entire asset management system. The Managed Planet Asset Control extension for LANDesk® empowers you to not only detect other devices but also collect the device data and view it exactly like an inventory record. Asset Control integrates directly into your win32 console providing you with the same query and reporting functionality you are familiar with. Asset Control includes Discovery Services that automates the collection of network device data without the need for an agent.
